Hazbin Hotel's Creator Is Aware of Fans' Season 2 Predictions — With Some Good News

The highly-awaited second season of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video this week, and audience theories has been widespread.

Season 1 presents a diverse group of personalities residing in the afterlife, pits them against each other with musical numbers detailing their conflicts, and establishes tense rivalries and emotional bonds that drive fan obsession.

The community's expectations for the new season vary widely, but certain threads recur frequently: Will a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the mysterious "deal" affecting the enigmatic Alastor? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator stated earlier this year. "However I feel like me being a devotee of the series implies there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I hope some of these things to occur, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator says her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have received approval by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply viewers have to be patient for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast the new season progresses, and how many of what they're waiting for unfolds now.

"I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "There are several debut moments. I think we get some incredible reveals, some really cool backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear additional musical numbers from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about season 2 — especially in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've seen a couple people create a bingo card about season 2," she mentions. "Obviously I can't post it, but I've actually done a few items, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season launches on Prime Video on Oct. 29.
